I just started learning how to run a dozer today (small komatsu d32) and left feeling pretty frustrated. The operator training me told me to keep my blade control hand constantly moving so that blade would go up and down ever so slightly throughout the entirety of the pass. Is this the way everyone does it? I feel like I couldn't get anything nearly as smooth as it should have been. He also instructed me to always push with a full blade of dirt if possible, and that definitely did help.
