Drive train extremely sluggish

Hello- I have a cat 289c skid steer with 1900 hours on it. I was running my forestry mulcher HF (which i have done many other times before) and the drive ability went extremely sluggish all of a sudden after about 1.5 hours use. The attachment still had good flow to it. I drove it about a tenth of a mile up my driveway to drop the attachment at a very slow speed.
