Gehl 3510 problem

I have a Gehl 3510 with a 4 cyl ford engine. I started it the other day after sitting since October of last year. It will start and idle and even throtle up. But when trying to move it will stall. It would move after I first got it running but now it just seems to quit. It is also surging against the govenor. I am thinking it might be a fuel problem. Any Ideas?
