I've had an interesting problem trying to switch to backhoe controls (John Deere) on 2 cat machines, a 312e and 314e, both euro spec. Switching the l3, r1 and r3 ,l1 produces an odd pattern, something that's not cat controls or John Deere. Lines are switched at the valve under the cab floor, control valve side. I've done this many times on 308's-316's and never had a problem. It seems like there is something going on inside that valve. Has anyone run into this before?
