580 ck 1971 extendahoe, steering

Got the machine stuck in mud deep up to hubs in front, a huge struggle to get out. After that something is tweaked in the front; the steering turns ok, but, the machine won't turn, like the front end is lifting and weight is mostly in back. Don't know if something is bent under there. I thought of trying filling the tires with water, or?? Help!
