Genie Z60/34 no forward/reverse movement

Hello from Arkansas.
We have a Z60/34 Genie, serial # Z60-90502, manufacture date 08/31/95

We have been in the process of refurbishing this and have run into a problem. Cannot get any forward or reverse movement. We recently replaced the enabler light as it was broken. The joy stick has been replaced. All seems to be working except for forward or reverse movement. Any help is appreciated on where to start looking for this trouble.
