volvo ec35 electrical interlock problem

I bought an ec35 volvo and am fixing the armrest interlock system. the machine starts and controls operate when the arm is up or down. I found the switch in the arm and it opens and closes just fine. the cable that connects only goes to lock the forward movement. The machine should not start or operate with the arm up. I assume that the cam switch in the arm should disable the hydraulics and starter, but how? I went to Arnold machinery in salt lake and the printed a wiring diagram and...
