Cat 226 Solenoid

Hello to all: I've got a 2000 Cat 226 skid steer and the engine cranks but wont start.I pulled the fuel solenoid out and it starts right up. I then installed a new solenoid and it does the same thing. Fuses are good,I swapped around the 3 relays on the fuse panel and still nothing.
Not sure where to go from here.
Also I ran the machine for a couple of hrs with the fuel solenoid pulled out and noticed when I had to reinstall it I had oil sprayed on the engine.
Am I loosing oil pressure and...
