Case 590 Turbo Shuttle Problem

I have a 1992 590 Turbo. The forward/reverse shuttle started with a short delay (about 5 seconds) before going into gear and progressively got worse over a period of a week. As it got worse, I had to rev the engine to get it to pop into gear (forward or reverse). Now it will not go into either gear. All other hydraulics are working fine. Linkage is fine and plunger is working in the control valve.
