First of all i would like to introduce myself, i'm new on this forum.
I'm Wim Wensink, i own a workshop/trading company in engines parts and machinery.
Mostly japanese brands but increasingly more cat engines.
the problem here in the netherlands is we have only one dealer and that is Pon, they do the import of cat.
and the only technical things they know is what the computer tells them.
so i'm realy hoping that you guys can help me with some cat problems that i have, also if you need anything, ore need info of japanese engines/machinery please ask me.
so my problem is, almost every week a customer of mine calls with the question if i have a perkins 704-30 or cat 3034,
the engines are very hard to find in europe, so my question is.
is it possible without to much trouble to build in a 3024 or 3044/s4s motor?
and does have anyone here experience with an coversion of an 3034 engine.
