IH 466 mechanical massive blowby

My 466 was 300 miles from home when it started blowing massive blow by and puking out oil at an astonishing rate, to the tune of one gallon to a gallon and a half every 100 miles or so, it came on all of the sudden, as in less than one mile of driving. Made some calls to determine what happened and was told by many I scored a sleeve and piston was most likely the cause or a cracked head, I had air pressure for the brakes and otherwise it ran pretty good.
