Hi i have ex100-2 that doesnt turn off with the key any ideas? if i turn it off then unplug the alternator it will stop. or if i cut the blue-yellow wire it will stop can i just wire the blue-yellow straight to alterntor waring light

I recently purchased a 1990 John Deere 750C series 2 dozer. It has worked well all winter. In the hot weather, though, it loses power after a couple of hours to the point where it won't push at all. Can you help me understand what could be the cause? Thank you.

I have a case 590sl with a hydraulic amulet thumb that is sharing the center pin. Trying to change buckets that mean need to drive the center pin out.
Just can't seem to get the tension off the pin to drive it out. Pin can be hammered until just about flush on the hammering side than seems to bind. Tried drift pin to drive out but seems way to tight . I know the pin on a bucket alone should be hand loose. Can't get to that point. Any idea's or tricks? Also have to somehow chain the thumb to the dipper or else it might swing free and pull the hydraulic line off. Bucket was put down flush on the bottom andpin went fine until flush with thumb ears then seems to bind?

140h diff lock troubles
Hello all, I am experiencing some troubles with the diff lock on my machine 140h, first thing I noticed was a fuse blown on my diff lock switch, which never happened before, when I backed out of the shop and slightly turned, the rear of the machine started to skip jump on loose gravel like it was locked up and you were trying to turn on pavement, no diff lock light on , so this is when I noticed the fuse gone on the switch, replaced the fuse every thing seemed fine then the fuse blew again and it acted like it was locked up on pavement again, the rear pass side really jumping, pulled back into the shop, this machine never acted like this ever even when locked up on gravel or hard packed road, our mechanic replaced the diff solenoid and also took a pressure test at that port its at 220 at idle he feels that's to low, its also leaking oil out the back of the trans by the 3 bolt plate( lower one), replaced o ring, still pushing oil out, also checked tandems all is fine there, any idea's what's going on? thanks :Banghead

Question - The Demolition of the Orpheus Ballroom
The big Orpheus ballroom here in Belfast, Northern Ireland is scheduled for demolition this summer. It was built in 1932 and has survived countless bombings during the war and the troubles in Northern Ireland. A sign she is extremely well constructed. Sadly the time has come to pull her down to make way for a new University. Does anyone know how long it will take to demolish this 5-storey building? Could it take days, maybe weeks, perhaps months to achieve?

I really didn't know where to post this, but this engine is in a Bobcat skid steer. It is a transplant, and we do not know what it originally powered. The only numbers/letters we have are F3L912, and 6561063. We are trying to remove the damper, and we aren't sure if this a right hand or left hand threaded bolt, or how to remove it without damaging anything. The engine will only turn approximately 180 degrees, and we would like to dig further, as removing pan doesn't show anything amiss. If anyone has any insight on this problem, we would appreciate any and all input

I have had starting problems over the last several months. Now the control panel does not even light up any more. I have installed a new battery, checked all the fuses, had the starter checked etc. I get 12.3V to the ignition switch and as soon as I turn the ignition on the power collapses to 0.5V. I have disconnected the control panel and it makes no difference. Then I unplugged the part of the ignition that I assume supplies power to components when the ignition is turned on and I get 12V on one of the pins supplying the disconnected plug.
As soon as I reconnect the plug the power collapses, including the 12 V going to the ignition. I don't understand how a total collapse is possible with all the fuses staying intact. I had several people come and "fix" the problem, just to have it reappear. Is there some safety feature that would prevent the ignition from operating? A friend said that the left armrest where you enter the machine has to be in the "down position " for the ignition to work. However, I cant find any limit switch or any mechanism that would monitor the position of the armrest. I have been battling this problem for several weeks now and am at a total loss as I have no schematics concerning the ignition/starting circuit.
Hopefully someone could lead me on the right path with this frustrating situation.

D8L F/D removal
Hi just after some advice, our D8L has been run with loose segment bolts (by a previous owner I must add) what is the best repair method as the holes have become elongated. I thought the cheapest fix would be to get the holes re drilled between the existing holes.
Also when removing the F/D do I need special tooling/pullers to get the f/d casing off the main spigot shaft.

Im looking at 2 case cx27b in my area. One has 2100 hours, and is going for 18.5k. The other one is a 2014 with 512 hours for 25k. Both machines have good undercairages and tracks, pins are tight. Are these good machines or best to avoid?

caterpiller 120g transmission issue
I need help figuring out whyou when I put my grader in gear and release the clutch it powers out on me. I have checked the brakes and all are released. Chain drives appear good. It feels like it is in the transmission. Does this model have a transbrake? Grader runs great. I was told the last time it was moved they made it about 50 ft and it shut down an wouldn't move. I was able to get it to move backwards about ten ft and it labored doing that then it was like you had slammed on the brakes

Case 40XT Lift arms drift down & bucket tips forward with out moving controls
Hello all, I'm new to form and apologize if this has been covered in past. I did a search and did not see anyone with the same issue so figured I'd make a post. I have a Case 40Xt that the Lift arms drift down & bucket tips forward with out moving controls, it does this on its own. When operating machine, I constantly have to move the controls to pick up the loader arms, and also constantly be tipping the bucket back. It's basically falling due to gravity. If it was just one or the other, I would think there would possibly be a bad o-ring on a spool valve, but since both functions are doing the same thing, it make me wonder if there is a common relief valve for both circuits? Or am I over thinking this, and is this something stupid like a switch not turned on? I don't have a operator manual for the machine, and just bought it. If there is a common relief valve or both circuits can someone point me in the direction to where its located. Any input or advice will be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.........

Been looking for a decent size loader for a while to use around the farm. Not wanting to spend a fortune because it simply won't get used a lot. Tilly's in Toowoomba have been advertising a 988b for a fair while now for 25k. It's an as is where is deal and listed as having a knock in the engine. Just after a few thoughts on this and wondering if anyone thinks this would be a viable machine to look into. Im a mechanic by trade so the work is no problem but have no experience with a 3408, personal experience would suggest than a engine with a 'knock' would most likely require at least a crank and a rod or two to get it running again. Any thoughts or advice would be great thanks Neil.
Ps if anyone is interested they can see it at Tilly's crawler parts under machines for sale.

Hello everyone started excavating 1989 for small company only2 employes . we now have 30 some. I run all excavating equipment but the motorgrader is the o.ne I still get excited about running.Im the only one in the company that can run it.I started with a570a then a672b.The owner just bought me a 672G.IT had 14 in tires we changed to 17.5 r25 Added 2ft extention to12ft blade an changed blade control levers to old jd stile.I Have read threw most of the threads 2or 3 times .my question today is how is the best way to keep the cutting edges strait.

JCB 260 ISO vs H settings: how can I add pin numbers so each operator has his setting
When I got my JCB 260 there was confusion when it arrived without the ISO/H pattern activated. The young man who came from Milwaukee area was nice enough to battle with corporate to get the codes needed via email and actually drove back to add this the 2nd day of my skid loader ownership.
However, I expected a pin number for each operator as I had understood the system worked. However, the operator's manual does not describe this in detail.
The other day I realized why this is so important. My cousin switched to H and when I jumped in and was backing out of my building....I expected to back out and whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... I slid to the right and immediately realized why.
I have an email in to my salesman, but have not heard back.
Wondered if anyone has the answers out there...how to add the pin numbers or was he supposed to add them when I asked him that day, but corporate did not supply him with enough programming code.
I was told this was a $163 option, but $900 option if you add after purchase. fyi

How to remove boom cylinder on JCB
I have a JCB 1550-B. I've owned it for probably 12/15 years. Machine runs smooth as a watch (though doesn't always charge the battery very well!)
That said, I'm a home owner, not any kind of business that uses these machines. We have some land around us and it comes in very handy from time to time.
Virtually all of the cylinders except for the cylinder used to steer the machine and the cylinder that hoists the boom on the backhoe have been replaced. By boom on backhoe, I mean the largest of the three backhoe cylinders and the one that is buried inside the bigger of the two halves.
This cylinder developed a leak today so now I need to wrestle this thing off and get it into town.
Am I correct that the best way to remove the cylinder is to dig a hole so I can plant the backhoe down below grade and then cuss & sweat to lift the cylinder vertical to pull it out?
Will the cylinder come out if I simply lay the hoe flat on the ground behind the machine?
When I once pulled the middle cylinder off, it about killed me. It was right at the limits that I felt I could comfortably (hahahahahah) carry by myself over to the truck. I'm guessing this one is bigger, badder and heavier so I'll have to get some help.
So, what's best way to remove this?

Cat D6 9U Oil Bath Air Cleaner
Hello all. does anyone have a service manual on the old Cat D6 serial # 9U machine that would tell how much oil goes in the oil bath air cleaner assembly. if i fill it to what i think are the oil level marks then the air intake pipe is covered by the oil level. when that happens then the air being sucked in by the engine has to actually pass through the oil on it way to engine. i would not think that is the way they should work. Hoping someone out there has better knowledge on these oil bath breathers. thank you.

CAT 226 gettin' air in the fuel
I've tried everything I can think of,air will settle out over night,crank up runs smooth for a few seconds then starts skipping on no.2 and 4 and is full of air.I've resealed everything on the suction side,switched some injectors,replaced transfer pump,new head gasket,checked push rods and done leak down test on the valves......? I'm baffled,I took the injection pump and they re sealed.Let me back up,it all started after I turned the machine over,flipped up-right and let it set over night then had to manually get the engine to turn over.Once it cranked it was skipping on no.1,checked rods,valves etc. nochange,took the pump got it back on its missing on 2 and 4.

988H rabbit mode
OK so I don't know what this option is used for. I looked in the operator's Manual and it said its used for moving material long distances to help with driver fatigue which I understand. But we have a operator here who sets it to max rpm and runs the loader all day long with the rabbit mode on. So he digging with it sitting over the rock crusher dumping his load with it on. So my question is what is the intended purpose of the rabbit mode can you keep it on and dig with it on. And what does cat consider long distances to have it on? And I want to have the right answers defore i go tell him hes doing something wrong because it just seams like the operator is just tearing up the machine. Thank you

Can anyone explain how the self leveling loader works on the 450 model? I'm Guesing it is a hydraulic valve. Mine seems to have quit working while going up but does seem to work while going down. The loader seem to stay a little more level the more throttle I give it though.

Im interested in any online sources anyone might have to buy these things. I'm thinking maybe ther eis a somewhat standard size thats used on many machines ..but not sure.
I've emailed a local dealer and awaiting a reply now. But would like some other sources to choose from if possible.
It looks to be a 'bear' to remove and press in so im considering taking the arm to a machine shop and have it done If I cant handle it myself.

Just learned to operate new machine nicely and discovered switch was in backhoe mode. Put it in Ex mode and now all thumbs and difficult to get anything done. Are there any advantages of one mode over the other? Should I just switch it back and be happy? Anyone prefer one over the other and why? Help!

Just after some opinions......I am currently doing another D353 out of a D9G (an early one) this engine has the main caps with the split pin through the nut, I have rebuilt a few of these and I don't like the split pin idea so I don't bother to fit it, I think it is a waste of time and if the only thing stopping your main cap nuts from coming loose and dropping a cap into the sump is a poxy split pin I thing your in trouble! Just interested in a few other people's thoughts on the topic......thanks 🚜

My D8k keeps blowing the hydro pump
The D8K we have keeps snapping the shaft in the hydro pump, we lose the tilt on the blade and the ripper. Five in the last couple years, the last one has less than 200hrs on it. We have replaced everything other than the cat it self, any thoughts

What do you use for a work light
I've been riding that rodeo horse all the way back to the insufferable "drop light". I suppose that term comes from shop and service station bays that had the work light with the incandescent bulb hanging from the ceiling via a retractable cord reel. I personally think the term "drop light" means if you drop it...no more light. I've been burned on the arms by those things, have had trucks fresh off the road from rain drip a single drop of water on the bulb and have it explode right next to my head, and plenty of cursing from the cord getting hung on something. I for one am happy that technology has taken us beyond the light bulb drop light, namely rechargeable work lights.

I just bought a yanmar B3 (or so I believe it to be) mini excavator-
I paid $7500 for it- all the labels are in Japanese- so I have no info on it.
I was wondering what the weight and capacity stats were for it? The previous owner thinks is about 20 years old.
It runs beautiful- he also repacked all the cylinders and installed new tracks and starter.
Another question: what id this feature on the boom- appears to split at the top? Is this a desirable feature or does it weaken its abilities?

Bobcat 97 863 C Aux Hydraulic lights flash.
It all when I bought a Atlas Copco 410-2 Breaker a month ago.It would run the tool an hour till it got warm or something else and it would fail all at once.Just the Aux Hyd.I would get the green flashing light..Some times after it cooled the Aux Hyd would work a bit longer..I have the 2 stem valves, did a Hyd filter swap,and rebuild the accumulator in the hammer.Now I have a different but the same problem.I get a green light on the Aux Hyd but when I hit the toggle the green lights just flash..The 863 heat gauge is low @140 and nothing is hot to the tough...I am at a loss at what is shutting this down.The breaker is a good match for this 863 Gpm....Any ideas ?Thanks..

I went to Oregon Tech and got a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2013. I bounced around a couple of place before I got a job at Oregon State University as the Development Engineer for the College of Engineering. I run a fair sized machine shop and build all the custom, one-off equipment for scientific research. I have the old iron sickness pretty bad and am trying to get started doing some heavy equipment repair, welding, and line boring on the side.

JCB JS130 Engine problems need help
Hello,
I am having engine problems with my jcb JS130 Excavator and was wondering if anyone could help me find out what the problem is.
when the engine is warm it looses power but is chucking out black smoke. if you leave it to cool down for 30 mins it will be ok for 15mins then it will start loosing power and smoking again.
I have already tried changing the diesel filters, flush the tank out, and bleed the system out.
any help will be great

Hitachi EX120-3 Pump Flow Control Issues
Hi All,
I have been browsing this forum for a little while now looking for solutions to my problem, but haven't found one yet. I am working on a Hitachi EX120-3 and am having issues with the pump flow control. When I start the machine, the pump seems to be stroked to minimum As I start working the machine, the pump seems to slowly increase flow until it reaches max, and then stays there. If I shut it down and start it up again, the pump will start at min flow and then creep up again. At that point the excavator functions are flying and if I deadhead a function it stalls the engine.
What I have checked so far:
The pump angle sensor has 5.3VDC going in and 1.5VDC coming out. As I run the machine, I observed the voltage begin to rise to 4.9 volts. I then checked both stroke control solenoids on top of the pumps. They have 28VDC on the positive side. The voltage drops off as I begin to move the boom, and that is when the pump starts creeping up the stoke. It is my understanding that the solenoids are controlled by the computer by pulsing the ground, so the positive should always have voltage. Correct? Also, how sensitive is the computer to the battery voltage? Is the 28VDC too much for a 24VDC system?
What is causing the power to drop off the solenoids. It then comes back after shutting down and restarting.
Any suggestions to what I can check next. I want to try and confirm what is wrong before buying parts. Also if anyone has an electrical schematic I would appreciate it. Thanks in advanced!

Figured something out
You guys probably know this but I learned the hard way. Had a truck this winter blowing air out a relay valve. Changed the valve. Air started blowing out the abs valve. Realized it must be a can leaking from the e side into the service side. I've heard of it but never came across one.
Today had a truck blowing out the abs valve. Realized if I took the service line off and released the brakes- if the can was bad- it should be blowing out the service port. Sure enough, that's what happened. Bad can.

Transmission oil for Hannomag 66 D
Greetings everyone, i just made it to the forum, and after exhausting searches i hope you could possibly shed some light here. I just bought a Hannomag 66 d turbo from 1991, and after serious searches i cannot find what type of transmission oil should i put in, i even bought a service manual, part manual and old Mf66 operators manual but to no avail.
Maybe somone who owns or had one of these machines could say what oils he used(engine, transmission, axles, etc)
Hope somone here will have an answer for me.

Yanmar B50 Hydraulics - aux hydraulics/pressure test
Hi Guys
Its been a while since I was on here. I have been playing around with my B50 yanmar excavator hydraulics trying to figure out where I could tie in a pressure and return line for some aux hydraulics. I tapped into the biggest pressure line that comes off the hyd pump ( there are 2 the same size -), and put a pressure gauge on there to see what it was. To my surprise there was only any pressure when I cycling one the excavator main functions ( boomup/down, bucket curl, etc). The pressure is low until the cylinder meets resistance and then pressure climbs. Like when I put the boom down and pick up the machine, the pressure spikes to about 1000psi during the lifting)
Not what I was expecting n- I was expecting some baseline stable working pressure . Must be a compensated pump. Does anyone know how these systems work. I can seem to find and feedback wires or pressure lines that come from the valve body back to the pump that could send control signals. I am kind of stumped. I'm sure someone out there knows how it works - hope they can enlighten me. Thanks

I was curious what you all believe to be the better excavator, 870G or 390D/F? I know I have seen a lot of 385/390 Cats on sewer jobs in my area. But I also have heard a lot of talk about Deere excavators lately. I know local dealer support is a huge factor. Case 1830
Recently got a1830 Case skid steer. Previous owner was not quite "accurate" about the condition, and operability of this machine, so I have no factual history to list. I repaired the any thing that was obviously defective, I started the machine, on blocks, and worked the steering levers, which turned the wheels correctly. I then reinstalled the wheels and put the machine on the floor. The machine was parked in a fairly tight spot, so I had to take quite slow and easy getting out of the shop. All was good until I pushed the levers forward a little, picking up a little speed. With no warning the machine started to spin and jump like a bucking bronco. I was lucky enough to get under control without hitting anything. I put the bucket back on and moved it to open spot and worked the controls slowly to try to see what was actually happening. It seems like the left side control was working OK but the right side would stop going forward, no matter how far the lever was pushed. When both were pushed forward equally, It seemed as if the engine was being bogged down, and then it was trying to reverse no matter where right lever was. I could not get that lever to the neutral position without yanking it back and forth, or stalling the engine. The repairs I did to the driving system were cluster sprocket bearing replacement- left side, and hose (one inch) to right motor replacement. I would surely like to know what my next move should be.

Who ACTUALLY manufactures their own jaw crusher???
While looking for crushers, wayyy overpriced to begin with, I started noticing that some "sticker" badged brands look exactly the same as the Chinese stickered ones. The housings on either the faces or the corners have all the same curves, gussets, mounting area and whatever else...but some say Terex, to KPI, Symons so on and so forth named brand ones are better/different, than the way cheaper Chinese stickered ones. What's the deal here?? Are they actually the same ones just different stickers and paint scheme? Who actually makes the jaws and replacement parts for them? They all look the same. I really hope somebody can give me some actual factual info. A side example of such....looking for hot water pressure washers, found Mi-T-M, found out they actually make John Deere's washer...different (gold enlaced green paint) paint and $1000 more on price. It's JD, so it's gotta be better than the actual company that makes it for them...right?!?! :D

I need some help on this dearly, happy to be part of the forum. I have an s40 from 2003, serial s4003-7286. I'm having a problem with the oscilating axle cylinders, they will extend but not retract. Manifold pressure is reading 950psi, which is in spec. Everything seems to be there for it to work, it's got me and a couple genie techs stumped. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

Scraper or pan??
Hi all, im trying to figure out what would suit my needs better for building terraces and water ways and diversions in Fields. Currently i use a d6n for most of my work but sometimes it just gets inefficent when i have to travel to get or get rid of my material it takes way to long. Ive kind of been looking at some 615's and think that would be my best bet but have never ran a self propelled scraper before, just a pan but not sure if that is my best choice. I have a couple 4wd tractors but everytime its dry to move dirt they need to be in the field working as well.
Im just haveing a hard time justifiying a tractor didicated to a pan as well as buying a good pan when i wont use it everyday. Another thing which you cant really go by but whatever, all my competitors are using pans. Is there a reason everyone is going to pans instead of scrapers?

Just put in all new batteries and it still wont move
The motor runs but it does not engage
Also it wont go up with the platform control but will go up with switch down below

Been recycling concrete for a few years always ran bigger outfits me and a friend of mine went in bought some wore out equipment started for ourselves. We have a 30x42 jaw feeding a screen and then a 15x36 jaw need to get more production but don't know which way to turn. looking at cones and impact for secondary or bigger jaw if possible , I have ran impact before never cones, but some of our material is pretty trashy lot of wood and aluminum not a problem when selling just wondering about how cones compared to impact are for that. also I know impact wear but don't know cone wear. Tell me what works best for everbody. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Any Concerns with Link Belt 330LX?
I have been shopping around for a while now and have an opportunity to pick up a LB 330LX with about 9000hrs that is mechanically sound (no leaks, tracks with less than 1000hrs, a/c working). Dealer will perform all filter/ engine oil change, shim any loose pins, repack any leakly cylinders, add mechanical thumb and deliver for 55K. I do not need one this big as all I want to do is clear my land (lots of stumps and many trees still standing), redig my pond/fix the dam but 30-50000lb machines are hard to find in my area that are not completely worn out in this price range. I may put 500-600 hrs on it over the next couple of years running it on the weekends and evenings.
What the goods/bads and am I crazy even thinking about one this big?:o

I know there are a few in the mining industry here. I'm only an operator but just researching. They just replaced the ac units with a new mine air system that just doesn't keep up in 80 degree weather. The unit says 10,000 btu/hr and 800 cfm. I'm curious what systems other mines use and how well they cool. I cook in the cab when loading facing the sun. Just today we finally got some big wigs to come sit in it and feel how inadequate they are. They were shocked so hopefully they do something about it. Our shovels will freeze you out in the summer but we have always fought them on the loaders to upgrade.

WE think it may have been built in 1961 (from the serial number), but aren't sure. It currently has a PTO attached to it (model 'PTA114144'), but we don't know much else. Any help would be appreciated!

jlg 400s wheel lock up
I have a 2002 jlg 400s manlift with a deutz engine I believe 0300060864 is serial number. I was traveling with the machine and one of the non steering wheels locked up and started sliding. it seems to be locked tight after doing the forward reverse thing a few times. sounded like it made a pop sound before it locked up
. I have been reading posts about the wiring under the control panels being the majority of the problems. I have all the wheels off the ground and the the two steering wheels will drive in one direction and only one in the other direction, seems to alternate between the two at times... no movement in the solid wheels at all... but only one of those was locked up when it quit me. I could actually slide the wheel a foot or so before the machine powered down.
does this sound like a brake release failure? or what else should I be looking at first. I just wanted to start here with a little direction from you folks. thanks in advance. I guess I should also say that I do not have a service manual.

931 Cat Crawler loader master pin group number.
Have a small leak in the final drive on one side. Going to split the track but am having trouble getting the master pin group. Pin, spacers and seals. Original part numbers must have changed. Pin number is the same but need washer and seal numbers. Or better yet the group number. pin # is 8L5569, spacer is 6S3145 and seal is 6S3146. Group is 6S8411. Any help would be appreciated.

FL M2 with C7 acert will not hold prime pressure
Truck still runs after starting just fine, pressure are good at low idle and high idle. But she takes about 10-15 seconds to gain enough pressure to start. Right off the bat I knew about fuel pressure regulator on back of head. Old one and new one looked different as far as where the inside plunger sat. Replaced fuel filter while we were at it. Then someone snapped the knob off of priming pump when he decided to use a two foot chain wrench to loosen it to prime new filter. Made him go get a new priming hand pump from CAT. Now I can get about 5 PSI, anything above that and you can hear it drain to tank. So I assumed that fuel pressure regulator was factory set or am I a dead cat?? Or is it possible fuel pressure regulator was smoked right out of the box?? I had to leave that job to go to another but still thinking about it. Any idears???

I went to start it this morning, but noticed that none of the indicator lights on the instrument panel would light up when I turned the key to on. I fully turned the key to start and the starter cranked, but the engine wouldn't turn over. The front light, horn and fan blower motor all work and I could hear the fuel pump run when the key was turned to the on position.
Still no indicator lights though. I pulled the fuel line from the filter housing to the injector pump and it spit fuel when we turned the key to the on position. I also checked the fuses in the small panel that sits next to the right side armrest by the instrument panel, no fuses were blown. Is there anyone here with Tak experience that might be able to point me in the right direction? Any web site suggestions are welcome as well.

John Deere 70D Pump Part Needed to Buy or Copy.
I am having a pump rebuilt and the previous owner lost two small spools (One on each side) in the control of the main hydraulic pump. I cannot buy just the spool. Does anyone out there have a john deere 70D pump that is not in use or spare. I can have a machinist copy the part and mail it back. The part takes 2 min to drop out and and is under an allen cap on the outside of the pump. I will pay for your time.

1973 Ford 3400 lift
I have an old 73 3400 that the lift wont go all the way up,I put the amount of oil that the manual called for and no change,should I fill the compartment up or what? The manual also doesn't tell the viscocity of oil to use it has some ford numbers I'm not familiar with.Can someone help with this?Thanks

I have a case 9010b. The other day she wouldnt throttle at all. I let her sit for a bit and she started back up and worked fine. Now her throttle is stuck wide open and a light is on saying there is an idle problem. Any ideas what the problem may be? Any solutions?
