New Kubota U35 - Track Care

Hi all, I'm new to the forums and loving my new excavator. I have a 1 acre rental property I am doing lots of excavation work on and it is about 100 yards across an asphalt road from my house. My question: Is driving the excavator on asphalt bad on the tracks? I want to get as much life out of the tracks as possible so am I OK? My excavator is about 8500 lbs if that matters. Any other tips on ensuring my tracks last as long as possible Thanks for any advise you can give.
