Jd 444h auto dig function not working

Hey guys, new to the forum. We have a john deere 444h that we purchased last year to feed our new concrete plant and the return to dig function has never worked since we've had it. I'm not familiar with John deeres, all our other loaders are cat 970s and 972Ms. Hope to get an answer or at least a direction to go
