I have a John Deere backhoe with the external oil cooler mounted on the side of the engine block. I am told that allot of skidders use the same engine 4045T that is in my machine. Mine is leaking oil from the cooler, either from the gasket or the o-ring behind the cooler housing. Has anyone ever had this same leak with their skidders? If you have or know of someone who had, I would be interested to know what ended up fixing the leak. Gasket? O-ring? or both. Appreciate any input on this....
