2005 Deere 755C Series 2 Dozer Steering Control Issue

We have a 2005 John Deere (manufactured by Lieberr) 755C Series 2 Dozer that was shorted out while changing the alternator. A wrench connected to the hot lead touched the body panel and within an instant fried the cables. The machine was not switched on at the time this happened.
