Genie s40

I have a 1999 genie S40 with duetz Diesel engine. It starts, runs for 3 seconds and shuts down. When you turn the ignition to run without starting the engine, you can hear the fuel solenoid activate then after the 3 seconds it shuts off. Any ideas?
