Loader spool stuck

On my Thomas Pro Tough 1700 skid steer the loader arms will go up, but not down. The cable from the foot pedal is operational. I then checked the solenoid that locks out the spool and it works. I re-greased the detent assembly thinking it was hanging up.
Nothing worked so I took the spool out of the valve body. I had to pry it up with a board to get it unstuck. It seems like hydraulic pressure was keeping it frozen. I took it out expecting it to be galled or damaged, but it looks like new...
