CAT 216B with Perkins 3024 Failure

First time posting on this great site. I have a 2006 216b that unfortunately experienced a catastrophic engine failure at only 346 hours. Even though its a 2006 it has very low hours. I was working the machine which developed an unusual slight ticking sound which quickly developed to a hard knock in seconds resulting in engine stall before I could shut down.
