ANOTHER NEWBIE SKID STEER PURCHASE THREAD

Greetings!!!
I did a search and read a bit but thought I would also ask for input from the members here.

Considering purchase of a skid steer and I am out of the loop on good/bad years/brands of machines out there right now. I started in construction in 1976 and back then it was Bobcat with sticks and we ran the wheels off those things. I've ran most construction equipment over the years but got out of construction in 2001.
I owned a Cat 226 (used for home/residential use) for several years...
