Screw type compressor problem

So I found myself in a little over my head with this one. I’ve got a Sullivan palatek screw type compressor. One day while it was running it decided to puke out a bunch of atf through compressor intake. I’m not familiar with this piece of equipment at all. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? Thanks!
