Cat 318B Swing Motor Leak ( ser-3LR00468)

We were working away yesterday with the excavator when all of a sudden a gusher of oil started coming out of this what I percieve to be a vent for the swing transmission. The one pic where the finger is pointing too is where the oil is coming out. I am thinking it must mean seals on the swing motor failed & it is dumping oil into the swing transmission below & flooding out the vent?
