Click torqueing or degree?

Is degree torqueing more accurate? Im old school and have always click torqued my bolts, but it seems more and more Im running into the degree torqueing. I know its been around for awhile but in my mind I just don't see that degree torqueing is that accurate. Can someone explain this in a fashion that makes sense to me? When Ive done degree torqueing it seems to be all over the place. I still think click torqueing is more accurate.
