Have a jd 850 B dozer. The machine has always creeped a bit backwards when you first started it but you could stop it. Recently when it was cold and the machine was started it creeped backwards and it could not be stopped. We then activated the Transmission Automatic Control Valve shut off, pulled the black handle to the left of the operator up, to allow the machine to circulate the oil to warm up. Seems everything quit. The machine did not warm up as indicated by the gauge and we cannot get the unit to reengage. It is a plunger that goes to the front of the transmission control valve assembly. Removed the linkage to make sure adjustment was right and it is but the plunger is very free. This is a pedal operated maching. Any thoughts or ideas?
