Did Case increase hp ratings for the 1845C as yrs went on?

vendredi 3 avril 2015

The typical published HP reading for Case 1845C skid loaders you generally read are 60/57 (Gross/Net) in ads and specs around the net. However, I have 3 brochures from different years and I just realized the published HP and operating loads seem to have changed over the years. Here is what they read:

1993: 51 hp net, 1,700 Operating load (I am pretty sure this is a 1993 brochure)

1996: 56 hp net, 1,700 Operating load

1998: 57 hp net, 1,750 Operating load

Does anyone know if there are any differences in the engines, or REAL power and lifting capacities, or did Case simply rate them higher as time went on for 'competitive positioning' purposes?

Thanks,
