hi guys new to the site. I looked around a little and didn't see anything but surely it has been brought up before. a friend of mine has a (he thinks 1999) new Holland lx885 turbo. I have used the thing many times and seems to have ran fine. it is used around the farm quite often. he called me today asking me to look at it. said that when you start it up it just takes off as if you throttled it up all the way. he says everything still works fine all controls are functional just stays reved up all the time. he said he replaced the throttle cable and knows it is working properly. he thinks it is something electric. I have not looked at it myself yet. I assume that since he says the throttle cable is working correctly has had some one move the throttle lever and watch to see if it was actually working or not. im not a mechanic just know how to use a wrench and pay attention to what im doing. any one ever had this problem or know what it could be? input would be great and if anyone has a link to another post regarding this subject that would be great too. thanks for the help in advance.
