So, to make a long story short - I've been in the commercial firewood business for about 10 years, and I'm getting out to pursue something different. I need to clean up my old wood-yard, which encompasses about 7 acres. this area has been fairly neglected for a long time. it is currently over grown in weeds, and I can't even brush-hog it as there are chunks of wood, and various forgotten BS all over. my goal is to turn it back into pasture good enough to graze...
My thought has been to get a rock-bucket with grapples, and basically sift through the whole yard, gathering up the big chunks. does anyone have any input, or other ideas??
I've been looking at a Midwestern attachments rock grapple, they seem to be well made and higher quality than most of the others I've run across. any other good-quality brand suggestions??
My other question - I'll be using this on a 95xt. the outside of tire, to outside the opposing tire width looks to be 80". they have 78" grapples readily available, but I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks for their 84". Not a HUGE deal to me, but does it matter??
thanks.
