Cleaned out the rear diff housing on the 644E, brake plate completely worn away and milled into iron grease.. Scraped it all out by hand and then filled the diff housing with diesel, halfway, then let the gears spin for a while, did that twice to rinse out all the crap. Axle bearings are shot but the differential bearings and gears don't look bad at all. More inspections later.
