I am trying to set the throttle position on an ex135 ur-5 but I can't seem to get it to remember the correct setting. I've tried to hold the toggle switch down behind the seat and turn the key on with the throttle set at idle, let the stepper motor cycle the turn off the key, this may not be the correct procedure for this machine. The toggle switch only has two positions. I removed the cover on the stepper motor and the gears are ok.
Could it be the throttle position sensor in the motor or the control module.
I have 3 more of these -5's so I can swap parts if need be.
I also have a disk Doctor a friend gave me but haven't tried using it yet.
Any suggestions we be appreciated.
