Hi folks, took the fuel tank off my cat 320 today. It has a rust issue and as you know the stuff likes to grow. I have filled it with water and am about to cut its top off, grind out, wash out, dry, and weld top back on along with a re-neck. Any body done this before and got any tips i.e. where is it best to cut so it's easy to reweld, mig or arc? Trying to use the benefit of hindsight without actually having any. Thanks.
