I have just purchased a Zaxis 50U (roughly 2005) at a very reasonable price however it has slow hydraulics. When operating the machine the hydraulics take ages to build up pressure to work and when they do they move at such a slow speed.
The previous owner had spend a lot of money trying to fix the issue. However it was a business and couldn't afford to keep the machine out of operation thus the reason for selling.
The previous owner had performed the following repairs:
- Repaired slipper plate and piston spool.
- Reconditioned Pump
- New Pilot Pump
- Reinstall pump and tested
- Blow out fuel lines
- Cleaned pilot speed control valve
- Reset valves to specifications
- Drained Hydraulic Tank
- Remove main control valve
- Refilled and bled pumps
- Reduce main pump output flow
Could anyone shed some light on what may be the problem and how it could possibly be fixed.
Also if anyone could supply a Technical manual for this machine would greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Chris
