Hi guys my question is that anyone knows what temp of thermostat is suppose to be in the 3.9 Cummings? It has never got to a quarter gauge on the gauge so I checked it with a heat gun and 175°f is all the hotter it gets under hard conditions.I have never checked if it has a t stat in it.I just got to wondering about this because it seems to be a fuel burner .what I mean by that is it will burn 20-25 gallons of the 33 gallon tank in a 8-9 hour day. This is based on a hard day working it.
