Hi,
New on here with a bit of a silly question. I bought an old Case 580F at the end of last year, needs a bit of work although works well. After I bought it, the seller delivered it and I parked it up round the back as had lots of other things to do at the time and the ground was very wet, sandy soil here and turns into soup when wet. The seller also gave me 2drums if oil, one is amber coloured and the other is blue coloured, the blue coloured oil is more viscous than the amber coloured oil, would anyone hazard a guess as to which one is hydraulic oil and which one is shuttle fluid, he did tell me but I have forgotten by now. I have 3 leaking cylinders that are losing me hydraulic oil so need to get going and get them repaired. 580F was built specificallyvin France I believe and is similar to 580G.
