I had read up on doing this what has been posted on this site. I looks like it really isn't a hard job. Are there any tricks I should know about? I do have a shop manual and will read up on it a bit more. The hoe control valves are now leaking real bad. Also the boom is drifting down real bad now. I been working the hell out of this hoe digging up big trees, but it's at the point now that I have to repair it. I do plan on repacking it on the hoe. I will just remove all the sheet metal to get at them.
Now for the seals and orings. How many will I need? I have the 580C with extendahoe. Also, I have to do the front bucket control valves. They are leaking a little to. Guess I should do them the same time. Are they the same seals/orings? Anybody know the parts numbers off hand for the seals/orings?
