310A Hydraulic filter gasket leaking... agian!

I am having trouble keeping the Hydraulic filter gaskets from leaking. seems like the rubber gets pinched and leaks. I cleaned and checked the surface areas and they look good, thought of using a o-ring instead of square cut gasket. I tried using a grease to hold it in place so not to have it flop around. anybody have any good ideas/practices when replacing filters and gaskets?



just one more folks, is the hydraulic pickup screen in the transmission?
