Issue: MC runs fine up to max revs (sometimes a bit of a delay from idle up to max - bit of a roughness)
but maintains Max revs of 2000rpms beautifully
put it under load progressively, revs willl back off.......cuts out immediately under heavy load , engine stalls completely
checked low flow fuel = 1.8lpms, clear right up to DENSO hp3 fuel pump inlet banjo bolts
check rail pressure = 400bar idle (ok) 1000 max rpms (ok) ...then down to 0 bar eventually after cuting out under load ,
replaced SCV solenoid in FIP = no difference
replaced injectors as a test due to leak rate seemingly high @ 120ml/p min (1000bar) = no difference
check pump leakage (return fuel) @ 1000bar = 1.6lpm, seems high? (1.8lpm entry)
checked + ran up to max revs + under load (when revs drop off) , no leakage @ rail relief valve
when engine speed really struggles under load and comes down to near idle, pump milliamps to prop sol, back off from 400ma to 0ma
checked voltage @ scv = 10.5v idle, 9v max revs down to 7v when under full load (starts to go up to 8v + when engine revs dye right down) - looks to be as manufacuter describes.
.... thinking its got to be FIP?.... tried for weeks now to find a leak off rate test figure but no joy,
