Perkins 404D Reuse Valve Cover Gasket ?

I have to do a valve set on a Perkins 404D vintage 2012 and I am trying to figure out if the VCG is a reusable type or should be replaced each time. So far the few calls I have made say that "you should replace every gasket every time" but they can't tell me how it is constructed and I know that more and more gaskets are multi use in locations such as the valve cover so can anyone tell me how this is made and whether it really needs to be replaced?
