I have a quick question about the hour gauge for a 98 416C CAT Backhoe. I noticed that the gauge does not turn off even if the key is not in the ignition. Is that normal? Should it turn off? Its been a couple hours since I turn the backhoe on and you can still see the digital numbers on the gauge. I did notice that the hours do not go up without the key in the ignition too. What do you guys think? Is this normal?
