Hi All
New here and looking for some info on a kx161-2 and what the main differences between it and a kx161-3. I'm looking at buying a 98 kx161-2 that someone is selling locally it has 4000 hours, closed cab and wide steel tracks. The machine is really clean and doesn't need much but some seals at the left pilot control weep some oil. I'm trying to figure out if its worth buying it or waiting to find a little newer 161-3 model. It's a fair price i think at $22k. I'm replacing my 1994 311 with it since that sits and never gets used anymore because its too big for the jobs we get anymore. We basically just use them for digging around houses doing additions and garages. We have an older L35 and kx61 that we use too much and really happy with it and they have been trouble free for 15 + years so I want to stick with a kubota. The kx161-2 also has the super series markings on it and I was trying to find out if that had any meaning. Appreciate any help. Thanks
