I hope this messages finds you all in good health.
I bought a Volvo EC290 Excavator couple of weeks ago. It is a 2006 Year model.
I started experience a hydraulic overheat, which is slowing the machines movement, specially when it operates using the Jackhammer.
The dealer inspected it, and found the hydraulic pump (Fitted with Hyundai pump) working ok. They checked the hydraulic valve, it was ok. So they said that the problem is from the Hydraulic cooler.
The guy i bought who i bought the excavator from is insisting the problem is from the pump itself.
i want to know if any of you had the overheat problem before, and what can i do to zero in on the exact problem.
NOTE: The machine is performing great when the bucket is fitted.
