Hi everyone, I bought a Clark Austin Western 714 crane (1973?) and I need to do some maintenance to it. I can not find specifications for fluids ANYWHERE! I'm mainly concerned about the fluids, especially the trans as this has the 3 speed high/low and it doesn't like the high range, seems like the torque converter is slipping. This has the Detroit 4-53 Diesel in it. I does appear that 30 weight non sulfur motor oil is what the trans takes, but I'd like to verify and confirm the procedure of replacing and checking the fluid.
