Hi all, first off let me thank you guys for this excellent forum that you've set up! Ive been on it for a couple weeks now and its good to know theirs people out there who loving playing in the dirt as much as I do. Now i have a couple questions for this community and and help/ advice would be most appreciated. I suppose i should tell you about myself first. Im 28 and have been running excavator full time now for 11 years. Ive dug basements for new residential homes, done water and sewer work, grade beams for new commercial buildings, civil work, built leases for the oil and gas industry (which believe me is no easy task when your trying to strip off 12 feet of muskeg/swamp while not sinking the machine out of site!), road building, and i've done some demolition work. Now i'm looking for operator employment outside of Alberta as im quite interested in moving! But i seem to having trouble finding a job in another province. ! Im also looking to get a work visa to the states. So my question to you guys is does any body have any promising leads for a excavator operator jobs in canada? Or if anybody from the states is reading this do you have any recommendations for companies in the states to approach for a operator position? I have a resume with excellent references if anybody would care to see it. Any help would be awesome and I thank everyone in advance!
