So, I'm going to take delivery on a used 2012 CAT 259B3 with enclosed cab.
I'll be doing a lot of brushing and mulching which is likely to produce a lot of combustible material that could get inside the engine compartment. That condition plus the ever present hazard of a broken hydraulic lines makes me very fire conscious, especially onboard fire.
Just to show my age..I remember as a kid seeing red buckets of sand hanging near the engine room on the local ferry....not meant for but used for cigarette butts!
What's the best setup for my new rig? CO2?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
