I have an older New Holland L325 with tandem Cessna pumps. There are two sets of numbers stamped into the bad pump, a set on each ear of pump. Im not sure if they are supposed to have two sets, or if the pump was rebuilt/re-configured therefore a new set of numbers were stamped into housing? The numbers are as follows. First set of number are 70142DAK 8M 08 LH, the other set of numbers are 78112RAU 8A 08 ER. Can anyone advise me on where to get a new or good used Rotating group for pump? The splines stripped in the pumps rotating group, and a couple slipper scored up the squash plate. Im pretty sure I can machine the squash plate and install a shim, but the rotating group needs to be replaced. I think Cessna was bought out by Eaton or Vickers? I see a lot of Eaton and Vickers parts on line, but Im not sure what series/model pump parts may cross to my Cessnas? I pulled the other pump apart, and it doesnt look like there was any cross contamination, however the splines on the other pumps rotation group show wear, so I would like to replace the rotating groups in both pumps If I can locate them at a decent price. One other question, from the part schematic, it looks like the hydraulic motors use a similar rotating group, has anyone used a rotating group from a motor to repair a pump? Also, is there anyone that sells core pumps/motors for parts? It looks like Case, etc also used a similar pump and motor, which the internals should be similar? I know Case used a pin where linkage hook to squash plate arm, compared to New Hollands key way on squash plate arm, but other than that, would the internals I need be the same on a 1830 and possibly other machines? Thanks again, Bird
