Hi all,
I am new to this forum I just acquired a late sixties 580ck construction king. The hydraulics were whining and not wanting to move. I read different things elsewhere on what to add. It ended up taking about 4 gallons or so in the right loader arm before it began to come out of the weep hole. I used "tractor hydraulic fluid" the good news, is that the hydraulics are working now, the bad news is the tractor is very slow to take off, like a slipping clutch and the brakes are not grabbing any more. Did I use the wrong fluid, and if so, what is the right kind and do I need to do anything besides drain and replace. I appreciate any insight anyone might have.
Thanks,
James
