I have a New Holland 7740 with a Bushhog 2847QT front end loader attached. It's been a big help for about 8 years. A while back the single joystick control started getting stiff, but, would still work. Then the bucket stopped responding which led to trouble shooting. :(
One of the cables, that runs between the joystick control and the Walvoil valve assembly, had snapped and it has been replaced. After quite a bit of tinkering with the various mechanical adjustments of the cables, (at the joystick and valve), the loader worked good as new, maybe even a little easier and smoother. But, only for one day. I used it pretty steady for about 6 hours and all was good. The next day the loader would not respond. Possibly tried to move slightly (maybe I imagined it) and the lines might have twitched a little (maybe). :beatsme
I have looked for instructions/tips on cable adjustments and any other info that might help, but, can't seem to locate anything. If anyone is familiar with this setup, I would appreciate some direction towards a solution.
