I have an IH3400A and I am looking at replacing a couple hydraulic hoses. The hose in my hand seems like it is too long for its job and is rubbing against the spline block. The hose that is to the far right of this long hose goes to the same ram via the same route. Is it likely that this long house is just a poorly chosen replacement? Should I make my replacement closer in length to the shorter hose or would their be a reason for this seemingly pointless extra long hose?
