I am looking at buying a 1993 volvo l180 loader with 20,000 on the clock. The loader has some visible issues to be fixed. Tires leaks etc. One issue is that the engine oil pressure light flashes the whole time the machine runs. I havent put a mechanical guage in it yet to test it. What are the chances that this is just a bad sensor? Also the machine only runs at 23 volts on the guage. Im guessing this is just a simple battery or altenator problem. The fuel shutoff needs to be wired open so that the machine stays running, of course im guessing this is due to low voltage. Can you guys chime in and let me know if any of these issues could be bigger problems inside? are there any other things i should look for with a machine with that amount of hours on it? thanks in advance!
