hi,Once again i am back on this great site seeking some info...I have the chance of shortly purchasing a International TD14, looking at it with the owner he informs me it starts on petrol then turn to diesal,,is direct start, 24 volt system (2 times 12 volt batterys) ..( not sure if the 24 volt is manufacturers or not),, he says it has a siezed steering clutch, i notice the bonnet cover is nearly rusted out on one side,,, hasnt been started for many years but been in a shed for that time,,, has a cable operated blade, the wire rope looks ok ,as does the winch on the back..rear sprockets look like they are getting down a bit...didnt notice to many other negative things on the dozer, most are normal for the age,...Now my questions are, Would there still be any Bonnet covers around or maybe a metal business could make one,,, Would the siezed steering clutch be a major job, ,,Would the two 12 volt battery system be made by international...Hasnt been started for many years ,would this be a concern for any water that would of been in the radiator with regards to the engine.....(dozer has been in a shed),,,finally he wants $2000 Australian ,,which seems pretty fair to me..... thanks for any replys and maybe someone can add if there are common problems with this model dozer i should look for...
