Bobcat A300 fuel pickup

My pick up keeps plugging and its getting worse. I found the pick up and return at the tank and wanted to verify that the pick up is on the right of the machine. How do you get it out and back in? Looks like it is directly under the pump. Also where/is there a drain for the fuel tank? If I can drain should I rinse the tank with water and let it dry before refilling. Tired of getting out of machine every couple hours to pull the line from the bulb and blow back through it.
